I was driving home, when I saw dozens of feathers floating in the air. They lead me to this truck. In a difficult (and dangerous) move, I took a few pictures while driving (don't do this). Those are turkeys. They cannot even stand up. Due to high-density, most could not even turn around. One girl had her wing dangling by a thread outside of the grate (picture didn't come out). Heartbreaking.

This is how all turkeys are transported. I hope their suffering ends soon. :(

Ugh, this reminds me of the trucks I frequently saw going through Petaluma late at night. It pissed me off for the obvious reasons that the animals were suffering and on their way to an unfair death, but also because they were being carried through a sleeping community that prided itself on "humane" animal products, yet I'm sure hardly anyone was aware of the horrendous conditions all farm animals endure from the "free range" factory farm to transportation to slaughter.
