"I wish the outcome could have been different," he said. "The dog didn't survive and that's the hardest thing for me."

This is from a guy who needed 150 stitches and several surgeries to repair the damage done by an injured dog. The dog had been hit by a car and this Good Samaritan stopped to help - as he tried to move the dog, the dog turned around and bit him several times in the face and neck. He is lucky to be alive. It's a reminder to be ever careful when trying to handle an injured animal. Best advice is don't. I wouldn't take that advice but it's still sound.

a good remember that wounded animals can be incredibly unstable, i mean arent we all snippy and short tempered when we're in pain?
