my best friend is the earth

Earthquakes make you get to know your neighbor.

Not that I'd know. We didn't feel it...even though it was touted as ZOMG BIGGEST QUAKE SINCE '89!!! If I didn't feel it, it wasn't big enough. Just saying.

Here is my fortune telling mad skillz:
- this will be the wettest winter here EVAR
- we will be pissed off when, during the wettest winter ever, our seasonal creek becomes a tsunami after the biggest earthquake since yesterday evening hits.

Okay, so I really do think this will be a super wet winter (sorry to drought-regions, we'll share...maybe). I also think there will be another earthquake. *nods* You just check the US Geologic survey site and see if I'm wrong (http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm, take that beeatch!)

So I guess it would be kind of mean to point out now that Californa has no vegitation on its hills, this predicted wetness and quake activity will cause massive mudslides? Yeah, that would just be mean.

Please do share the rain, and in return, we people of The Drought Lands will send you lots of sand for sand bags.

Mudslides be damned!

However, we will take your sand. In exchange, we will share rain. We'll even do a little rain dance.

Um, so just in case the mudslide gods are listening, I was just kidding. *nods*

I used to love the animaniacs, just not enough to know any quotes. But I can barely remember where I put my right shoe, so that isn't saying much.

However, that is a superb quote. SUPERB. In all caps, of course.

Normally my memory is complete crap (I can set something down and two seconds later completely forget what I did with it) but I have an amazing memory for quotes and song lyrics. And stupid facts. Basically, if it's unimportant, I'll remember it. If it's need-to-know ("Where are my car keys?!") I have no chance.

That whole song is great (A Quake). But that is definitely my favorite line. I giggle each time I sing it.

I'm going to start a business of earthquake prediction. I'll be rich, rich!
