AHHHH CONTACT ALLERGIES

The dynamic duo of doom spent forever and a half rolling in wet grass, running around in pointy blades of doom and then JUMPING ALL OVER ME.

I get contact allergies from grass. My arms are a pinkish, irritated hue. And so am I...irritated, that is.

My dogs suck.

We first stopped going to the off-leash park because Shadow would frolic around in the woods, then rub against me and I'd end up all blistery and oozy. So I feel your pain.

But you know you love'em all the same... ;)

Yeah, yeah...I guess I do. :)

It's worth it to see them have so much fun. Though I still don't understand how they can play hard for 40-minutes, practically need to be carried home, then STILL want to wrestle and run zoomies around my tiny apartment.

Because it's a change of venue! They hadn't played there for, well, at least 40 minutes! AND, of course, because it's inconvenient for you. That's probably the bigger reason...

Why can Shadow hold it for nine hours during the day but has to go out every 30 minutes at night? Just to be a pain in the ass, I'm pretty sure...

It makes me feel so much better knowing my dogs aren't the only ones to do this! If it isn't Celeste staring balefully at the door, it's Mina shooting daggers at me for not ZOMG! letting them out now.

We were actually worried about her, because she'd never been like this before... then I realized she's never been alone that long on a weekly basis (my husband teaches at a junior college, so he's been home often enough that she's usually not alone for more than 2-4 hours a day). Now, with T-W-R being very long days for her, I think she's getting back at us. Dammit, were going to pay attention to her when we get home!

And I know she's doing it on purpose because she comes in and drinks half a bowl of water! *glares at dog*

When I read the title I thought. "Gee, I've never heard of anyone having allergies to their contact lenses before."

Perhaps you should be thankful that your eyeballs aren't swollen because then you'd look like a pug?

*passes the oatmeal bath and shuts up*

Bwahaha, contact lens allergies do not sound fun. The itchies have now faded, my claw marks have not.

I am thankful for not looking like a pug. As much as I love pugs. And I do.

*OATMEAL BATH LOST IN DIGITAL TRANSMISSION* NOOOOEEEESSSSS!!!!

I have a lovely claw mark of my own. One of the daycare dogs pawed me for more pets and caught my NOSTRIL of all things. I have an itty bitty scratch in there. Every night I put A&D ointment on a Q-tip and slather it around my nostril and try to fall asleep while fighting off two tongues who think my nose smells delicious.

I also hope there isn't a fire because I'm pretty sure I would just smell A&D ointment.

You'd love Bert the pug puppy. His head is the size of a golf ball.

Sorry about the oatmeal. *cleans off monitor*
