i want you all to know

that it is 8:30 pm and 100 F. My dogs and I are hot. Not sexy hot, either, because you cannot be sexy hot when it feels like your clothes are about to melt into your body. That is not sexy.

You know what else isn't sexy? That it is going to be 110F tomorrow. One hundred and ten.

Don't get me wrong, I like the heat. A lot, actually. I love it more than the frozen water people call snow.

I'm still going to complain about 100 + days, just so you know. Be prepared.

I hear the ac as well. I try to use it sparingly (b/c it costs $$$!) but when the outside is the same temp as the inside of my bedroom, well I gotta go with the ac.

Yikes! That sucks green guacamole. :( I hope you and the girls get cool weather soon.

It once got up to 120ºF!!! in TX where I lived at the time. Stupid bloody heat. I swear, I'm moving further north.

Mmmm, guacamole!

Probably won't get cool weather for a smidgen but that's okay - we're tough with our ac and fans and awesome cool ways. :)

100+ degree days make everything unsexy. Hope you've got a reliable fan and a full water bottle. And that Mina and Celeste enjoy ice cubes.

Mina loves ice cubes. This will be Celeste's first exposure to the rectangular-shaped ice treats.

I've got ac at work and home. I'm just worried about our pigs, chickens and bun-buns - they are not fans of the heat at all.

poor piggies and chickens and bun-buns. I'm guessing that they'll do the smart thing and move as little as possible.

It's what our two boy cats did for the past couple of days...until it cooled off this morning and I woke up to Hamish using my stomach as a launching pad for his morning dash through the house.
The midwife told me to avoid getting hit in the stomach...I wonder if a 16 pound cat could do any real damage...
