TO BE FAIRED!

I want you to know, my opinion of Palin has not changed. She is the worst possible vp candidate, imo. She is an insult to voting women, an implied tool to get on the fence female voters to vote the McCain ticket. She wears fur, for cripes sake!

But I want to be fair in my assessment of the candidates, or at least their objective position on THE ISSUES.

Unlike Palin, McCain, Biden and Obama at least have voting records.

Joe Biden on the Issues
Supports partial-birth abortion ban, but not undoing Roe.
Voted NO on prohibiting minors crossing state lines for abortion.
Voted YES on $100M to reduce teen pregnancy by education & contraceptives.
Voted NO on maintaining ban on Military Base Abortions.
Rated 0% by the NRLC, indicating a pro-choice stance. - That's an honor, I think.
Expand embryonic stem cell research.
Nobody asks if you're gay in a foxhole. - FACT: They only ask if you are a fox.
Voted NO on constitutional ban of same-sex marriage.
Voted YES on adding sexual orientation to definition of hate crimes.
Voted YES on expanding hate crimes to include sexual orientation.
Voted YES on prohibiting same-sex marriage. (He thinks civil unions are okay) - 1996

Well, this just reaffirms my existing choice, but thank you for laying it all out there. It's nice to see it detailed.

One thing in Palin's favor, at least in her own party, is that she's exactly what they want the modern republican woman to be. Which, personally, is not anything I want representing me.
