On life and such

I think it is absolutely tragic that the Saltine crackers I've had in my cupboard for the past three months are still edible. Even more tragic is that I am eating them with vegan cheese and enjoying a glass of wine (the least tragic part, btw).

Anyway, yesterday I spent some time with polyphonicvegan who I shall now call L because it is shorter than her username. I reclaimed a coat she had stolen from me the last time I visited (when I also reclaimed my sunglasses from the previous visit).

L makes my Mission 101 1/3 things I am grateful for this week. She's not a "thing", of course. However, she did tolerate my photographing of dogs at the dog park wherein I wander aimlessly off and take fifty pictures of a dog by a chair (it was a nice chair. Nice dog too; liked butt scratches). We watched as her dog, George, dug a hole to Australia and ate it (the country). We also met two very nice pit bulls named Johnny Sue (a girl) and Wilbur (a boy). I took pictures.

Following the whole dog park affair, we went to a pizza place and decided to be all-American. By "all" we ate vegan pizza and "American" we drank beer and surreptitiously (me, mainly) watched the Steelers/Chargers football game. A trip to a used bookstore (I restrained myself and only bough two books, including L's most favoritest book of all time) finished off the swell day. L is my hero because she could also be an honest to god elf, which are also my heroes, if they existed and such.

I will post pictures of the dogs later (as they are part of my 100 animals Mission 101 challenge). This whole Mission 101 thing is great because it keeps my mind all full of activity and madness. Better than empty, I say.

There is NOTHING tragic about eating Saltines except for your not sharing them with ME. What kind of cheeze did you eat? MMM. Do you think Teese is worth the price?

I can't wait to see your dog park pictures! You looked so professional. I wish we had predicted Johnny Sue's almost-smiling gallop towards us as she was leaving. That would have been an awesome picture.

Heh! Elf god!
